The Japan staff arrives at the new office!
The Japanese staff arrived at the new office the day before the event! This time, the all the department heads participated. They were impressed by the new and state of the art office. The view from the 26th floor was the stunning, and it looked like we could see Ho Chi Minh from end to end! We are looking forward to the inauguration of our new Saigon office. We were surprised by all buildings built within the last 10 years! We greeted the Vietname se staff involved in our daily work, and we spent the day preparing and looking forward to next day's event.

Finally, the day of the event! In the morning, all the staff gathered in the meeting room, and Mr. Yamamoto talked about management policy.
Sales and recurring profit margin steadily increased during last fiscal year. We could see the results of our daily work in figures, and realized we contributed to the growth of the company, and became even more passionate about our future work.
After that, looking back on the 10 years since the opening of the Saigon office, the new management policy to make further progress in the next 10 years was announced. It is a large vision that can't be achieved by just individualsbut a story full of hope that a team called Defide can surely take on! After that, each Japanese department head explained the workings of their department, to which Vietnamese staff who recently joined eagerly listened.

During lunch, we had office tours for staff's family and friends as well as customers! We introduced your brand-new office decorated with balloons and flowers, while having a drink and catering.

10th Anniversary & New Office Opening Party

Opening
In his opening remarks, Japanese representative Yamamoto spoke in Vietnamese! It was a passionate speech, where Yamamoto, who usually only speaks Japanese and English, used Vietnamese for this time. After that it was PM Hiep's turn. At Defide, one can enjoy the familiar Vietnamese style! This is how the Saigon Office 10th Anniversary & New Office Opening Party begins!
Awards Ceremony & Games
While enjoying the delicious food at the hotel, the award ceremony started. Two awards were presented to staff who were active in the first half of this fiscal year. The lucky chosen were iOS team's Tam Huynh and the system team's Kien. Congratulations to both ♪
Hiep Bui of the system team won first place, an IoT watch, in the BINGO game everyone participated in!
Presents & Closing
After the main party CEO Yamamoto presented gifts to the children of the staff who participated! The staff all enjoyed the gleeful children receiving their presents! Especially one and a half year old Nguyen accepting the presents with both hands made Mr.
Miyata of the Vietnam office smile too.

After the main party, we headed to a rooftop bar for the after party. It is also in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, and the view is amazing! It is the rainy season now in Vietnam, and the slightly misty sky and the building neons were fantastic. Everyone relaxed with the DJ's soothing music! The Japanese staff whose were hyped from the warmth and openness of Ho Chi Minh took a dive in the pool!! Lol After swimming a beautiful form of crawl, it felt refreshing cool to look up
from the pool with
a smile!
