01 One-Stop Support from Movie Details to Ticket Purchase
The home screen showcases trending movies that everyone wants to watch, popular movies that others have seen, and personalized recommendations based on the user's viewing history.
Each movie's detail page provides essential information, including the storyline, cast, crew, and reviews from viewers who have already watched the movie, along with details about related series. For movies with ongoing ticket sales, the app links directly to the "Mubichike" ticket purchase site, enabling users to seamlessly buy tickets within a single workflow.
To ensure users can easily access a wealth of information at a glance, the app employs intuitive icons and an effective use of screen space, with a thoughtfully designed layout to enhance usability.
02 Comprehensive Development from Front-End App to Server-Side and Management System
The scope of this project encompassed four major components:
1. UI/UX Development for iOS/Android Mobile Apps: Creating a user-friendly and visually engaging interface for the front-end app.
2. API Development on AWS: Building the backend infrastructure on AWS to provide data to the front-end services, serving as the core foundation of Mitai.
3. Batch and On-Demand Data Processing: Developing systems to replicate movie data from Movie Walker, as well as aggregate and analyze user actions such as "watched" or "want to watch" through batch or on-demand processing.
4. Management System (CMS): Implementing a CMS for the client’s operations team to manage messages and other content for the service.
